ARBENI, the Czech Republic
We are association of parents and friends supporting centers of Slezska Diakonie
www.slezskadiakonie.cz in Krnovsko – Bruntalsko region of the Czech Republic.
Slezska Diakonie in our region provides complex of consecutive social services
for people in need. In the “CC.fpd” project participate services for grown up
people with disabilities, mostly learning and combined disabilities: Benjamin -
Daily care centre, Archa - Sheltered homes and supported independent living,
Ninive - sheltered workshop, Rut - supported employment and social

EASPD, Belgium
The European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities
(EASPD) promotes the equalisation of opportunities for people with disabilities
through effective and high quality service systems in Europe. EASPD represents
close to 8000 service provider organisations across Europe.

Learning Disability Wales
is the umbrella ngo for all ngo’s working in Wales in the field of learning
disability. Our 120 member organisations include large and small service
providers, parent/carer organisations, self advocacy/people first groups and
generic community organisations. Our members work with and for children and
adults with learning disability from birth through to old age.The service
providers deliver many services including childcare, school support, short term
care for children and adults, vocational training, supported living, leisure
activities, development of self confidence and life skills, and job finding/
coaching.
Learning Disability Wales is a campaigning and lobbying organisation that
promotes the rights and opportunities for children and adults with learning
disabilities. We work closely with the Welsh Government,provide assistance to
our members, issue a magazine and newsletter, run several demonstration projects
and provide training.

Isparta Provincial
National Education Directorate, Turkey

is a state institution in charge with the planning and coordination of all kinds
of educational and training activities in pre-school, primary, secondary and
adult education in Isparta Province. Our Directorate includes Personnel,
Appointment, Examination Investigation and Evaluation, Culture,
Education-Training and Student Affairs, Program Development, In-Service
Training, EU Project Department, Computer and Test Services, Pre-Primary
Education, Special Education and Guidance, Physical Training Sports in School,
Services for Teacher and Social Affairs, Scholarships and Lodging, Private
Education Institutions, Health Affairs, Non-Formal Education, Apprenticeship and
Vocational Technical Education, Research Planning and Statistics, Budget
Investment and Facilities, Education Materials and Tools, Archive and
Administration Department, Civil Defence Services and Media and Public
Relations. The institution is responsible for teachers out of staff,
studentsprimary and high schools.

level to compete equivalent instutitions in Turkey and in modern countries with
ensuring authentic contribution to the development of Turkish National Education
System by providing effective usage of knowledge, skill, value and technology
required for Knowledge Era. Our mission; is to ensure to boost efficiency and
productivity of associated instutitions and of employees and pleasure of worker
and service fields; to develop education-teaching process by following modern
innovations and advances, by carrying out researches; to improve and to
implement laws and other regulations through the general goals and fundamental
principles of National Education System in Isparta Province. We hold a variety
of in-service training courses for our staff to enhance education quality of our
city and to ensure to be trained the students by the teachers that are
innovators and follow modern education-teaching methods very closely. We solve
problems encountered in education-teaching together with Municipality of
Isparta, Provincial Social Services Directorate, Provincial Health Directorate
and other local institutions We as educators believe that it is our crucial duty
to provide education to be intercultural and fight against racism and
xenophobia, to promote the prosperity and interest of children with special
education needs and improve family support they receive.

FEAPS, Spain
is a the main spanish non-profit organisation that works with people with
intellectual disabilities. It was founded on 26th April, 1964. It presently
counts 650 associations and 17 federations throughout Spain and through them
more than 65.000 families affected by the problem of mental disability. The main
objectives of FEAPS are the following: (a) Promote the action of associations
working on behalf of people with mental disability. To do so, FEAPS tries to
valorise their activities, co-ordinate actions, prepare publications and offer
counselling and guidance to the associations and federations. (b) Take action
with regard to Public Authorities, Government, Political Parties, Regional
Administration and other Social Agencies, to ensure that adequate legal
provision and policy in favour of handicapped persons be implemented and that
sufficient economic help to maintain and create necessary services be provided.
(c) Try to change social attitudes with regard to handicapped persons. To fulfil
this goal FEAPS tries to influence the media in the social field so as to keep
them constantly informed on the most important problems that touch that part of
the population.
